PersonalLoans.com Leads the February Sales Charts at $1M

Two months into the new year, and we already have our first $1M sale. Schilling’s DomainNameSales (DNS) sold PersonalLoans.com earlier in the year for $1,000,000, capping off a strong February. And as always, Ron Jackson has the low-down over at DNJournal.

Schilling’s DNS has been on fire the entire month, occupying 7 spots on the top 10 sales list for February. Besides the $1M price tag for PersonalLoans.com, it also sold Lov.com for $160,000, Flu.ca for $45,000 and Mobb.com for $42,500, among others.

Dream.org at $25,000 Tops Afternic’s $1M Sales Week

Afternic released its weekly sales report yesterday and the results were impressive: domains worth over $1M were sold in the week starting from Sunday, the 12th of February. Even more impressive was the fact that a .org topped the sales charts with Dream.org selling for $25,000.

The largest .com sale was JunkDrawer.com for $20,000, followed by CoolTool.com at $18,500. The lowest sale value was LogoBoss.com at $1,000.

A full list of sold domains can be found here.

Browsing through the list, a few sales stand out.

Headmasters.com at $15,000 is indeed quite a strong buy. So is Stac.com at $5,000. FreshSnacks.com at $2,088 and EditorsPick.com at $2,000 are good buys as well. Among phrase domains, TasteTheBest.com sold for $1,500. Even a typo domain, Referal.com, found its way on the list at $2,500.

Among non .com domains, Certify.org at $3,882 stands out. Dream.org, of course, tops the list at $25,000 – a good price for an undeniably strong domain.

The Archive.org history for PrivateJet.com is extremely bare. Along with the lack of Screenshots.com entries for the domain, it appears that this was largely a domain only sale (if the sale can be confirmed, that is).
